In February 2008, as part of the planned reopening of the Dannemora iron ore mine, the subsidiary Dannemora Förvaltnings AB acquired the land and installations which the Dannemora Group needed to make the mine operational again.
The acquisition also included a number of residential properties situated immediately south of the industrial area around the mine headframe.
